Sam Foti is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, studied law at the prestigious University of Oxford for a year and received his masters degree in finance and investments from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Since then,  Samuel J. Foti has been a part of numerous companies at high posts and proved as an asset to them all. However, it was at the MONY Group Inc. where he really came in to the limelight. He showed skill, genius and logic that with application produced high results. He targeted areas that needed to be addressed and took measures that were executable and appreciated by all his colleagues.

A few examples from the many great things he managed to do for the MONY Group Inc. since he joined them in 1988 include his efforts during his presidency in 1994 which materialised as the company going from being a private owned company to a public firm.  Samuel Foti  wanted to stress on the importance of diversification and prioritisation that would yield high results. To reinforce this, he sold some of the subsidiaries on the MONY Group Inc. that were not necessarily essential for the core business.
